A modern-day 'classic rock band’ with a twist of southern soul.

Toronto-based band, Left on the Dial (LotD), takes as much influence from the sounds of the north and mid-west of the 70s to 90s as it does from the deep south and the blues, soul and rock’n roll music it birthed.

The band’s name is no coincidence: it’s a celebration of the indie, emerging music of the 80s, but also of radio as a medium, of the freedom of expression and of the different layers that create Left on the Dial’s sound.

Formed in 2019 when two life-long friends decided to take their casual playing to a new level and put an ad out for a drummer (and found an unlikely match). They then connected with another long-time friend to play bass and have been growing strong ever since.

Based in deep friendship, LotD creates and performs upbeat, all original rock music with tons of heart.
