Every song is fast-paced and hard-hitting, fringing on post-hardcore.

Ivy Gardens is made up of friends Joe (drums/vox), Andrew (guitar/vox), and Sebastian Hogg (synths/keyboards). The group formed in 2014, playing shows and releasing a few albums under the name Viscosity. In 2020 they started from scratch, naming the band, Ivy Gardens, after the street they learned to be a band. 

The songs on the self-titled EP came together from jamming sessions in the band's basement, as they weaved through loads of material. Through this process, they chose the six EP tracks and began the "embryonic stage" of creating a full LP.
