Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Gastown Riot is a British-Canadian rock band comprising of Prairie boys from SK and AB and two blokes from the UK. Pairing rock anthem sound with poignantly written lyrics, the band features frontman Scott Schroeder, with his deep, smooth vocals alongside guitarists Bryan Schubert and Kas White, bassist Arran Sahrota and the band’s pulse, drummer Brian Phippard. With two of the band’s members serving as Firefighters, Gastown Riot’s music is written and performed with a depth and emotion reflective of their experiences and appreciation for the human condition.
