New Single
"All Rise"
“All Rise” is a deeply personal reflection on the complicated relationship between three brothers and their father.
Growing up, the members of Of The Unknown experienced a father who was often in and out of their lives and involved in criminal behaviour. The song reflects on the impact those experiences had on the three brothers—not simply as individuals, but as a family growing up together and trying to make sense of an often complicated past.
Musically, “All Rise” was created to feel both familiar and new. The production blends modern alternative rock with retro-inspired elements, creating a sound that feels deliberately timeless.
The visual world of the song follows that same idea. The release campaign incorporates the aesthetic of a vintage lawyer commercial alongside an old photograph of the three brothers as children. The contrast connects the song’s themes of family, memory, and the past with a tongue-in-cheek courtroom concept.
At its core, “All Rise” is about looking back at where you came from—and confronting the complicated experiences and relationships that helped shape who you became.
ABOUT OF THE UNKNOWN
Of The Unknown is an alternative rock band from Oshawa, Ontario, formed by three brothers. The band brings together modern rock songwriting with influences from different eras, creating music that balances nostalgia with a contemporary edge.
With a history that stretches back to their earlier work as Lost Cause, Of The Unknown represents a continuation of that musical journey while embracing a new identity and direction.
“All Rise” is the latest chapter in that story.
