Founded in 2023, Burlington Canada, "Chasing the Sunshine" is a pop punk 5 piece that's all about encapsulating the angst of joyous moments, and embracing life's fullest experiences through a positive lens.

Drawing inspiration from a savory array of influences including MGK, Blink 182, Story of The Year, and Sum 41 "Chasing the Sunshine" infuses their music with a blend of raw energy, captivating hooks, and relatable lyrics that strike a chord with mellenials and gen z alike. 

Chasing The Sunshine released their full length 9 track album "Merry Go Round" September 2025 with their song "Stay Away" hitting #4 on petrock radio's (peterborough) top 40 weekly songs, Feb 1 2026 and the title track "Merry Go Round" sitting at #9 on Pet Rock Radios new music rising top 40 as of March 22, 2026. 

The 2nd song on the album "Faker" was mixed by Grammy and Juno award winning Producer/Mixing Engineer Eric Ratz.

CTS are currently putting the finishing touches on the follow up to "Merry Go Round" with a new single slated for May 2026, alongside a run of Ontario dates scheduled for spring and summer of 2026 which include: Waterloo, London, Oshawa, and Toronto.
